The first technical testing of the Halo Infinite multiplayer mode is coming soon. In the latest Inside Infinite update , 343 Industries revealed what test participants can try during the test.
According to the developers, the technical preview will focus on testing Halo Waypoint – a companion mobile application and web service, testing interfaces, in particular the battle pass, challenges and customization.
Test participants will be able to try multiplayer with bots in the bot arena, where 4 players oppose 4 bots in arenas. During the test, players will have access to the Bazar, Recharge and Live Fire cards. The bots are available in four flavors: Recruit, Marine, ODST, and Spartan. Each level reflects the increasing difficulty of the bots.
The team plans daily content and bots that will evolve as they play matches. At first everything will be friendly enough for the players to get comfortable, but as time progresses, the bots will get smarter and more dangerous.
There is no exact date for launching the test yet, but this preview may begin on PC and Xbox next week. The preview will be available to hundreds of thousands of insiders. If all goes well, the developers will invite even more players to the next test.
No release date for Halo Infinite has been announced, but the developers are confident that the game will be released before the end of the year. The multiplayer component of the game will be available to everyone for free, both on PC and Xbox.
