AMC’s The Walking Dead is coming to an end. In less than a month, the final 11th season kicks off – and a new trailer for the series was unveiled during the panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
As usual, the trailer for the new season is cut from many scenes, from which it is difficult to get a clear picture of what is happening. In addition to the obvious points, situations are devoid of context and rather confusing – it will be more interesting to watch this way.
However, among other things, it is clear that the characters will face the Reapers. There are also several frames of armored guards. At the end of the cutscene, it is clear that these armored guys are Commonwealth security forces, where a group of survivors will end up at some point in the season.
There have been hints of the Commonwealth in past seasons, but the new trailer shows the settlement and the names. By all accounts, the Commonwealth is doing well, in line with the comics.
The Walking Dead season 11 premieres on August 22nd and will include 24 episodes, divided into three blocks of eight episodes. The final block will be shown in 2022.
