The official licensed poster based on The Mandalorian was featured on Twitter by artist Russell Walkes during the San Diego Comic-Con. And this poster hints at what Grogu will do with Luke Skywalker during training. At some point, they’ll be putting together a new lightsaber together. However, whether a similar scene will be shown next season is unclear.
The second season of “The Mandalorian” ended in late 2020 and included some cool cameos and loads of Easter eggs for Star Wars fans. As of today, there is no specific date for the premiere of the third season. Moreover, it is now difficult to imagine how the Mandalorian will go further, because he completed his mission – he handed over to Grog (also known as baby Yoda) to the Jedi to train the Force.
It’s hard to say if The Mandalorian season 3 will show Grog’s training. Perhaps there will be some kind of editing. Or the art will be shown in the credits, demonstrating what the kid is doing while Mando gets out of another scrape.
As for the scene of assembling the lightsaber itself, this is a very common part of the process of practicing the Force. As Grogu stands on a floating platform and levitates pieces of a sword, a kyber crystal hovers over Luke’s hand. Curious how dangerous it is to give a working lightsaber to a toddler?
