Ubisoft leaves the art director of the Assassin's Creed series

Rafael Lacoste, art director of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, has left Ubisoft. He announced this on Twitter.

Lacoste has worked at Ubisoft on various games, but most of all influenced the titles of the Assassin’s Creed series. He served as Art Director for the original Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Raphael worked in the studio for 16 years. He thanked Ubisoft and noted that all these long years of work will remain in memory forever.

The developer will not leave the gaming industry. He plans to develop and move on, but where exactly is not yet clear.
