Netflix has unveiled a trailer for the drama “Monster” about young black guy Steve Harmon from New York. He studies in an elite school, is fond of photography, and then becomes a participant in a complex, intricate case, in which he can go to prison for his whole life.
The film was directed by Anthony Medler – this is his debut work, he previously shot videos for famous musicians: from Eminem to Drake. Cast: Calvin Harrison, Jennifer Hudson, John David Washington, rappers ASAP Rocky and NAS also appear in the film.
Synopsis:
“Monster” is the story of Steve Harmon, a seventeen-year-old honors student whose world collapses when he is charged with murder. The film takes Steve’s journey from being a clever, disposing student of an elite school in Harlem to a convoluted trial that could end up spending the rest of his days in jail.
“Monster” will be released May 7 on Netflix.
