Rust and Ghostrunner get NVIDIA Reflex low latency mode

Just the other day, support for NVIDIA’s Reflex low latency mode appeared on the official Overwatch server. In the meantime, the option for even more games – the company said that the next in line is the survival Rust and the slasher Ghostrunner.

Curiously, Ghostrunner is the first game on Reflex’s roster to have no multiplayer. The low latency feature is most useful in online battles.

Reflex works by limiting the number of frames that the GPU can queue for selected scenes, thus reducing CPU utilization. Nvidia claims that with this technology, system latency can be reduced by 50%, so that the game will feel more responsive.

Supported titles already include: Black Ops Cold War, Warzone, Destiny 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant and many others.
