Smugglers start smuggling video cards and other equipment to China

The situation with video cards, SSDs, RAM and other equipment became so sad in 2021 that even smugglers became interested in transporting components and electronics bypassing customs. For example, Hong Kong customs officers intercepted a boat full of various fish, GPU, RAM, smartphones, electronics and cosmetics.

A total of $ 31 million worth of goods were delayed. Among them are 300 Nvidia GPUs for mining, each of which costs $ 700. They were probably supposed to be delivered to local miners, and the buyers were reluctant to pay customs duties.

300 of these video cards will mine $ 5,000 worth of ETH every week if the price of the cryptocurrency stays the same and does not grow further. It remains a mystery how many of these boats with video cards arrive in Hong Kong every day.
