Bandai Namco has published a new trailer for the role-playing game Tales of Arise . It showed a cut of gameplay shots and talked about what brought the main characters of the game together. The developers promise to reveal more details this spring.
The plot of Tales of Arise tells the story of the confrontation between two planets – Dana and Rina. The inhabitants of the latter several hundred years ago seized their opponents and used their natural and human resources with impunity. The two main characters, the swordsman Alfenu and the healer Shionn, will have to fight back the invaders.
Tales of Arise will be the seventeenth game in the Tales of series. Its development began in 2018, and was led by Yusuke Tomizawa (God Eater, Code Vein).
The game was planned to be released before the end of 2020, but due to the pandemic and remote production, the release had to be postponed. At the moment, Tales of Arise doesn’t even have an approximate release date. We only know that owners of PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be able to play it.
