People don't even complete the game - Yousef Fares on replayability

In an interview with VentureBeat, director and game designer Yousef Fares shared his thoughts on replayability. The head of Hazelight believes that this is not the problem, but that many players do not complete the game.

Overrun is the lot of a small percentage of gamers.

Statistics clearly show that people do not even go through the game to the end, but at the same time everyone, including journalists, speaks of the notorious replayability. Who is replaying games at all? Perhaps only a small percentage of people. We need to focus on just going through the games.

Fares also revealed that It Takes Two can be replayed if desired, but games should not be built around that.

You can replay It Takes Two if you like. You will see slightly different mechanics depending on your playstyle, but this shouldn’t be the most important part of the process. We are constantly asked this question and I do not understand why.

It Takes Two will be released March 26 on PC and consoles of both generations. Find preview details and gameplay here .
