PS Plus subscribers will have to manually collect free money in GTA Online

Active Grand Theft Auto Online players on PlayStation have long enjoyed free cash bonuses, with an additional million in-game dollars per PS Plus subscription. This service has always worked for free and gamers did not need to perform actions to get cash for the costs of apartments, cars, clothes and weapons.

This month, the system will continue to work as before – PS Plus subscribers will receive a bonus million automatically. However, starting in April, Rokcstar will change its approach – players will have to manually collect the bonus from the PS Store.

According to Rockstar, this will improve the process of receiving in-game money – players do not have to wait for the automatic system to transfer funds to the game account. Translation can now take up to 72 hours. The new method will allow you to receive a bonus in a matter of minutes.

The process itself should not be problematic – just go to the PS Store and pick up the cache from the GTA 5 bookmark. A number of games with monthly bonuses are already working in this way.

Monthly transfers will be available before the launch of the native version of GTA 5 for PlayStation 5. The nextgen version of the game is now scheduled for the second half of the month and will include a number of features.
