Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Will Not Release In 2021, Replaces Development Team

Paradox Interactive announced that  Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will not be released in 2021. The publisher said that Hardsuit Labs is no longer in the game.

We made a tough decision – Hardsuit Labs will no longer be developing Bloodlines 2. This means that the game will not release in 2021 as previously planned. We also decided to stop accepting pre-orders for now, as the release date is unknown.

This game is very important to us. It was an ambitious project from the start. We came to the conclusion that in order to achieve the goals, changes are required and, as a result, more development time.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Hardsuit Labs for their efforts and hard work on the project. The studio has done a great job laying the groundwork for the game, and we hope you appreciate their contributions to Bloodlines 2.

We can say that the problems with the development of the game began after the departure of Chris Avellone. Later, lead writer Kara Ellison also left development. And now, in the middle of development, a whole development studio is being changed. This is a pretty rare situation in the industry.

The release date for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be announced at a later date .
