Insider NateDrake on the ResetEra forum has shared some details of the improved Nintendo Switch, unofficially referred to as the Switch Pro. The user said that the console, in addition to 4K functionality, will receive support for Nvidia DLSS.
He also noted that the Switch Pro will also add in handheld mode. This probably means higher resolution and frame rates.
Switch Pro will receive 4K and DLSS. That’s enough to call the upgrade significant. Full support for First party studios and simultaneous development with the base Switch.
NateDrake thinks the updated Switch will be announced this year, but can’t say the same about the release. However, the insider sees no reason to postpone it to 2022.
