Ikumi Nakamura opens a studio in Japan and invents two skins for Rainbow Six Siege

Former creative director of Ghostwire: Tokyo Ikumi Nakamura revealed that she has opened her own studio in Japan – while it employs two people. Previously, Nakamura worked on Okami and The Evil Within.

What exactly the independent studio is doing is still unknown, but it is definitely its own IP.

This was not a central topic of conversation between Nakamura and Famutsu magazine. The interview mainly focused on the Rainbow Six Siege skins that the developer came up with. Operators Echo and Hibana will receive new skins – release on March 2.

Nakamura often comments on all the trends that are developing on the network. Earlier, for example, a game designer told about Lady Dimitrescu. According to Nakamura, she would become a chair for the villainess, “threw herself on the floor and would like to be trampled by this big woman.”

In addition, the Japanese woman recently signed a contract with the American talent agency JJ Abrams Creative Artists Agency. This allowed her to get to know many other developers and companies.
