Apple is gearing up to launch the second generation of its AirPods Pro wireless headphones. MacRumors writes about this with reference to industry sources DigiTimes.
The rumors were caused by a large order for NOR flash memory, which went to the Taiwanese manufacturer Winbond. The order is said to be for the AirPods Pro headphone, which is slated to launch late in the first half of 2021.
This is not the first rumor about the development of a new version of the AirPods Pro. One of the first to write about this was Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. He stated that the company is working on the second generation of AirPods Pro: the developers allegedly seek to make them more compact by removing the rod from the bottom of the headphones. The foodie clarified that Apple is testing a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds. The journalist claimed that the novelty will be released in 2021.
In January, Japanese blog headphone development rumors published Japanese blog Mac Otakara. It has been claimed that Apple will release the second generation AirPods Pro in April, along with the third version of the iPhone SE. Specifications were not disclosed, except that the charging case will receive a different size.
