Considering that video games have been around since the 70s of the last century, it’s not surprising that more than one generation has been addicted to them. Recently, a video with a 65-year-old gamer in Overwatch clearly showed that games can be loved at any age.
Rob Crum tweeted a video of his dad playing Overwatch with music medic Lucio. Like any immersed player, he forgets that it is not necessary to move the whole body or bend over to control the character.
When Rob was recording, he thought she would make a few people smile. However, the reaction turned out to be much larger. At the time of publication, the video was watched over 2.5 million times, and the tweet received 150 thousand likes and more than 21 thousand tweets were left.
Many say that they move in the same way during the game, or that their parents are also addicted to games, despite their age. Even Johnny Cruz , who voiced Lucio in Overwatch, responded to the tweet .
Rob also noted that this is his father’s fourth chair, the carpet under the computer desk has long been killed and he is constantly changing mice.
Thanks to Rob’s dad for helping to break stereotypes, and for choosing a support role in Overwatch , there would be more of them.
