The Redanian Intelligence portal, with a link to a photo of one user on Twitter, reported that the animation film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will be 1 hour and 21 minutes.
The information was taken from the Portuguese version of the Netflix app.
Responsible for the development is the South Korean studio Studio Mir, known for the animated series Avatar: The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender. The film itself should tell about some mysterious threat that threatens the Continent. Vesemir, not Geralt, will become the main character of the animated film, the story will be considered canon for the whole “Witcher” and will be a prequel.
Nightmare of the Wolf is curated by Lauren Hissrich and Beau DeMaio, who are in charge of The Witcher with Henry Cavill.
The exact date of the premiere should be announced in the near future.
