The official announcement of a productive Motorola Edge S smartphone running the Android 11 operating system took place: the new product is already available for pre-order.
The apparatus is equipped with 6,7-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 2520 × 1080 pixels, aspect ratio 21: 9, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, luminance of 560 cd / m 2 and support HDR10.
A total of six cameras are provided. In the double perforation in the upper left corner of the screen, there is a paired selfie-block based on sensors with 16 and 8 million pixels. The quad rear camera incorporates a 64-megapixel module with a maximum aperture of f / 1.7, a 16-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, a 2-megapixel sensor and a ToF sensor.
The computing load is entrusted to the Snapdragon 870 processor, which combines eight Kryo 585 cores with a clock speed of up to 3.2 GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X55 5G cellular modem.
The arsenal of new items includes a side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, an NFC controller, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack. The 5000 mAh battery supports 20-watt charging.
Three versions of Motorola Edge S are available for order:
- 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB – $ 310;
- 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB – $ 370;
- 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 256 GB – $ 430.
