At the beginning of last year, engineer Justine Haupt introduced the Rotary Cell Phone with rotary dialing. The girl created a gadget for herself, but, as it turned out, many wanted the same smartphone. A year later, the device became available for purchase.
Haupt offers a Rotary Un-Smartphone kit with 4G support. From a smartphone, you can not only make calls, but also send messages using an electronic ink display. The body of the device was printed by Justine on a 3D printer. The device works on one charge for about a day, and thanks to the large antenna, according to Justine, it was possible to achieve better signal reception than in conventional smartphones. If needed, enthusiasts can add new features thanks to the open source code.
The device costs $ 390.
