Luke Skywalker Improved by Corridor Digital Effects in The Mandalorian

The Corridor Digital team, known for creating various special effects, drew attention to the finale of the second season of the series “The Mandalorian” and decided to pump a digital version of the familiar Jedi.

In the eighth episode of the second season, we saw a young Luke Skywalker recreated using deepfake technology. The character was gifted by Max Lloyd-Jones, while Mark Hamill provided Luke with a voice.

The Corridor Digital team didn’t quite like what DIsney did, so they set about creating their own version. The specialists recorded their version of Luke, applied special effects and inserted it all into the series, cutting out the original character.

The finished result can be seen from 17:24. Before that, there are explanations of how the team managed to do everything in six days.
