Late last year, Rare announced major changes to post-release support for Sea of Thieves . The developers promised a seasonal model, a battle pass, and more.
The company kept its promise and already on January 28th, Sea of Thieves will start the first season with a Battle Pass.
Each season will now last for three months, and within its framework, Rare will supply the game with fresh challenges, items and various live events. In addition, the previously designated Plunder Pass with hundreds of levels of pumping will appear in the game, as well as a new merchant – Detective. The “Arena” mode will remain in the game, but will no longer be supported.
More details Rare will probably provide closer to the start of the season. Sea of Thieves is available on PC and Xbox.
