Ride 4 developers released a version of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series

Milestone has released a trailer for the nextgen version of the Ride 4 motorcycle racing simulator , which was released on PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One back in October. The title has now reached the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with a bunch of improvements.

What awaits players in nextgen version:

  • Support for DualSense features (PS5)
  • lightning downloads
  • 4K resolution
  • the number of players in multiplayer and offline modes has been increased.

In September, Milestone stressed that PS4 owners will only be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free until April 30th. On Xbox Series X, the game supports the Smart Delivery function, so gamers will receive the update on the console for free in any case, without any time restrictions.

  1. Bear in mind that if you’ve been playing Ride 4 on PS4 and take the free PS5 upgrade, you will LOSE ALL progression bikes, custom liveries – the lot!

I found this out this morning. Raised a case with Milestone and their response was:

“Unfortunately when upgrading to the Ps5 version the previous saves are cleaned and cannot be used.
    Kind regards,
    The Milestone Team”

    Ridiculous. 100s of hours loast
