Studio The Farm 51 announced on the Steam blog about plans to develop the survival shooter Chernobylite . Firstly, the game’s exit from Early Access has been postponed from the first to the second quarter of 2021.
The shift in the date is due to the reluctance to focus on post-release content, but immediately integrate it into the final version. In addition, the game will be translated into more languages, and Russian and English voice acting will be remade from scratch in the studio with the participation of professional actors.
In the final version, players will have a new location, weapons, enemies, expanded interaction with other playable characters and tons of fixes to existing mechanics and tools.
Some of the studio’s plans have remained unchanged, such as the megapatch, which is still scheduled for release this winter. As for the console version of Chernobylite , it is under intensive development and should be completed in the coming months.
