Publishing GamesRadar, citing colleagues from SFX Magazine, reported that director and screenwriter Robert Rodriguez is already working on an animated series in the universe of the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn”.
According to the director, the rights to the franchise still belong to him and Quentin Tarantino. Details of the animated series were not disclosed, but Rodriguez hinted that the project could follow in the footsteps of the TV adaptation of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.
When the series was being created, Rodriguez planned to expand the story of Santanico Pandemonium and the Aztec vampires. As a result, the show lasted three seasons, which ran from 2014 to 2016 on the director’s channel El Rey.
The original horror film From Dusk Till Dawn was released in 1996. The main roles were played by George Clooney and Tarantino. The latter also acted as a screenwriter for the tape.
