Mortal Kombat 11 player disqualified from tournament for criticizing developers

Kotaku announced that the  Titaniumtigerzz finalist was disqualified during the Mortal Kombat 11 tournament  . The reason for the removal from the tournament was the name that the player gave to the Shiva Movset – WhyDidNRSdoThis.

Thus, the tournament participant wanted to make fun of the unbalanced character, but the organizers took this as criticism of the developers, and disqualified the player right during the match. Titaniumtigerzz was awarded a technical defeat.

According to Titaniumtigerzz, he was credited with a technical defeat, not allowing him to challenge the decision of the judges of the competition. The Pro Kompetition rules do not mention such cases, however a section of the code of conduct gives organizers the right to disqualify players for almost any reason.

On Twitter, users began to actively promote the hashtag #WhyDidNRSDoThis, thereby expressing support for Titaniumtigerzz.
