The name Peter Moore should be familiar to anyone following the gaming industry. He worked at Xbox, then ran EA Sports, and in 2017 left Electronic Arts for Liverpool Football Club and became its CEO.
He left his position last August and announced today that he has joined the Unity team. Moore took over as Vice President and General Manager of Sports & Live Entertainment.
Moore started working in the games industry in 1998 and many thought that leaving for Liverpool would be the final point of his career, but Peter decided to return, signing that this is not the biggest news of the day.
In the comments, you can see entries from many famous people in the gaming industry, and Randy Pitchford called the day a big one for Unity.
