In the recently released book Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development, BioWare admitted that it once developed the Revolver game . The artist Mass Rhodes on this occasion decided to publish any of his concept art for the project on Instagram.
Revolver was originally supposed to be a sequel to Jade Empire, but during development – from 2005 to 2008 – the vision of the project changed many times. As a result, he took the form of an action role-playing game in the open world of the near future with parkour. But something went wrong, and Revolver quietly, quietly canceled, switching to Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2.
I wonder how many of these canceled games – and especially spectacular concept art – are gathering dust among BioWare employees?
