Chrome lost support for Flash - browser received 88 update

Google has released update number 88 for the Chrome browser. Now the application does not officially support Adobe Flash and direct access to FTP servers.

Other changes:

  • No more Legacy Browser Add-on support for accessing old sites
  • Dark theme improvements – now extend to settings, bookmarks, history and tabs
  • Search tabs
  • Improved password management
  • Discontinued support for Mac OS X Yosemite
  • Less annoying permission requests

Chrome 88 also brought some new features for developers. More details in the video below.

The update is already available on all supported operating systems and platforms.
