Preloading on smartphones and support for gamepads on iOS - details of the 1.3 update for Genshin Impact

MiHoYo studio continues to develop its popular role-playing game Genshin Impact. In a new blog, the developers answered players’ questions and revealed the details of the 1.3 update, which will be released in the near future.

  • With Update 1.3, smartphones will be preloaded. Now the main files will already be on the smartphone before the release of the update. Something will have to be done anyway, but a little
  • During the upgrade, you can simply hold down the button to add the required amount of materials to improve the weapon
  • Devices running iOS 14 will support Xbox and PlayStation controllers (DualShock 4)
  • Battle Pass rewards will be adjusted to give players more Primordial Resin. At the same time, the resource will be less used in events that are not tied to the passage of the Arteries of the Earth or dungeons

Earlier, the developers talked about the January events. The game has already started “Ephemeral Mistrust”, during which the chance to get Gan Yu is much higher. The chance to get the characters Xiang Ling, Xing Qiu, and Noelle has also increased. The event will run until February 2.

The “Hypostatic Symphony” event starts on January 16. Players will have to fight with elemental cubes in order to get a name card and source stones. On the same day, the “Live one day” promotion will be launched.

By logging into the game every day for a week, users will receive different rewards. Everything will last until January 31. Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, iOS and Android.
