Last week, Netflix announced that a full movie will be released on the service every week of 2021. The Deadline edition found information about each of the paintings. It turned out that Netflix was cheating a bit – not all films will be live action films – one of them will be the animated film Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie.
Synopsis:
A mysterious stranger arrives from the future with dire warning. Leo is forced to take matters into his own paws and lead the brothers: Rafa, Donnie and Mikey, to save the world from a terrifying alien species … Krang.
The film will be directed by Ant Ward and Andy Suriano. They’ve already done the eponymous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series on Nickelodeon.
The exact date of the premiere of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie remains unknown.
