Last December, Microsoft Flight Simulator was announced for the Xbox Series consoles. However, the version for Xbox One was somehow suddenly forgotten, although from the very announcement the title was announced for this console.
In an interview with Eurogamer, the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator development Jörg Neumann said that he does not exclude the appearance of the game on the Xbox One, but all forces are now thrown into the new consoles.
We are totally immersed in the Xbox versions. You need to properly hone each element, based on the available possibilities.
I’m not excluding the Xbox One version. I think it’s a matter of time. Obviously, the amount of memory plays a key role. On ultra settings on PC, the game requires a whopping amount of memory, which the Xbox One lacks.
Let’s start with the Xbox Series X and S versions and then see what happens next. We have never ruled out this possibility, and besides, there are other options. So it’s too early to talk about it now.
Most likely, Neumann means the cloud version of MSFS for xCloud by other options . Given that the Xbox One is a rather weak console by today’s standards, this option seems the most likely.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is coming to Xbox Series this summer.
