Insider KatharsisT announced plans for Square Enix to announce the PS5 and PC version of the Final Fantasy VII remake at the same time. He also did not rule out that the title could be released on the Xbox.
Details of the nextgen version are unknown, but it can be assumed that the developers will improve the game for modern Sony consoles. As for the PC, Steam or EGS can port both the old version of jRPG and the updated one.
Earlier, the release of Final Fantasy VII for PC was hinted by the fact that in January last year, the game code for this platform appeared on the network. Until now, Square Enix has not commented on this in any way, but there are fewer doubts.
Final Fantasy VII was divided into several parts: the events of the first unfolded within Midgar. Work on the “second volume” of the remake, in which the plot will continue the story after Midgar, has already begun.
