NVIDIA has quietly announced the GeForce GT 1010 based on the Pascal GPU. For the first time, a user under the nickname Dapz spoke about the video card, who noticed the name of the card on the NVIDIA driver download page.
He decided to clarify the find with the company’s support via chat and received an affirmative answer.
The GT 1010 features 2GB of GDDR5 memory, 1.28GHz GPU clocked at up to 1.46GHz, 55W heat dissipation, so no extra power is needed for the graphics card. The card also has 16 TMUs, 16 ROPs, and 256 CUDA cores.
It is not yet known whether the GT 1010 will be available only to manufacturers of ready-made assemblies, or will go to retail. The cost of the video card is also not reported, but the GeForce GT 1030 can be purchased for $ 80.
