Valve and PGL have announced that the first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major, after a two-year hiatus, will take place this fall from October 23 to November 7 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The prize pool is the largest in the history of CS: GO – $ 2 million. This will be the third major to be held in Sweden, but it will be the first time in Stockholm.
The tournament will also be streaming at 4K / 60FPS, which is also new for Valve’s shooter competitions. In addition, the organizers promise various interactive elements like augmented reality and a special custom HUD.
More details on the format of the event, tickets and much more will be announced closer to the start of the tournament.
