When Sony released a new PS5 trailer in honor of CES 2021, a list of several release dates could be seen. Recently, Sony has published a new version of the video, from which the previously indicated dates have disappeared.
Judging by the original video, Capcom’s Pragmata previously scheduled for 2022 has been pushed back to 2023, but there is no date at all in the new version. Removed the March release date for Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Removed the January 2022 release of Project Athia, a Sony exclusive for two years. So it won’t be on the Xbox until 2024.
Returnal is still in place and will release on March 19th. The June release of Solar Ash, the July Little Devil Inside and the October releases of Stray, and Ghostwire Tokyo are missing. In place of Ratchet & Clank: Rift and Horizon Forbidden West, which simply say “2021”.
Apparently, these dates were not intended for the public and someone at PlayStation once again overlooked the videos. Moreover, even the name of the month “Januray” was misspelled.
It’s time for Sony to sort out with its team if such misses happen on a regular basis.
