The Elder Scrolls Online Gates of Oblivion Announcement Postponed Due to Joe Biden's Inauguration

The Elder Scrolls Online developers have postponed the big announcement of the Gates of Oblivion expansion. It seems that they are afraid of possible unrest immediately after the inauguration of Joe Biden in the United States.

Due to the fact that the inauguration fell on January 20th, we moved the big announcement of Gates of Oblivion from January 21st to January 26th, starting at 10pm GMT [January 27th 01:00 UTC]. Thanks for your support, see you soon.

They didn’t waste time on trifles – they postponed it for almost a week. In response to a question from one of the Twitter users, the developers noted that they want to carry out everything as safely as possible, since the vast majority of them work near the US capital.

Surely, the transfer would not have happened if Trump supporters had not rushed into the Capitol.
