This year CES is being held online, but this does not mean that there are no interesting announcements. A few days ago Sony introduced its new service for streaming movies and TV series called Bravia Core.
Initially, the service is designed only for Sony’s Bravia series TVs, with the company focusing on quality as the main feature. Bravia Core will include content published by Sony using Pure Stream technology to stream content in high definition without loss of quality.
It’s not clear if Bravia Core will be featured on other platforms. There is also no information on pricing, but the service is clearly not going to replace Netflix.
