According to Deadline, the spy thriller “No Time to Die” starring Daniel Craig still won’t hit theaters in April. The publication, citing its own sources, reported that the coronavirus pandemic in the US and UK continues to rage, and these are key markets for MGM.
Earlier, the owner of cinemas in the Netherlands told BN DeStem that the 25th Bond movie will be postponed until November. The authors of Deadline could not confirm or deny this information, but heard that many advertising partners of the 007 franchise have already received a warning about the impending transfer of “No Time to Die” to a later date.
Meanwhile, MGM continues to lose money due to the inability to show the picture in a movie or sell it to streaming services. The company offered the movie for $ 600 million to Apple and Netflix, but they refused to pay even half the amount. In December, rumors emerged that MGM might even be listed for $ 5.5 billion.
