While 343 Industries is in no rush to share fresh details of Halo Infinite , the shooter continues to acquire rumors and details from third-party insiders. The well-known insider Klobrille, in an already deleted tweet, said that the game will not have a battle royale, about which there were many rumors earlier.
Instead, the developers create the so-called Big Team Battle 2.0 mode. According to an insider, in this mode, battles will take place between a large number of players with the participation of ground and air vehicles (“Pelicans”). A squad system will also be implemented.
Klobrille later stated that the rejection of the battle royale was due to the fact that Halo always set trends, and did not follow them. In addition, players can create such a mode themselves in the Halo Forge toolkit.
Halo Infnite is coming to PC and Xbox this year. 343 Industries promises more information about the game soon.
