What is currently happening with the Star Wars Battlefront series is unknown. EA has released the extremely successful Jedi: Fallen Order, for which a sequel is already being made, and a new iteration of the shooter series has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, the players had the assumption that Star Wars Battlefront 3 is still in development within the walls of EA.
It all started when the top three actors in the Star Wars Battlefront 2 story campaign were spotted in Los Angeles in November. This information was collected by the curious Potatoslayer2 redditor. From small clues, he established that Janina Gavankar (Eden Versio), Anthony Scordi (Admiral Garrick Versio) and T.J. The Ramini (Del Miko) were in Santa Monica from November 9 to 22.
Janina shared photos of her motion capture suits in November.
Scordi and Ramini have confirmed that they are working on something together again. Ramini showed the motion capture suit.
From the geotags, the redditor determined that they were in Los Angeles on the same dates.
Perhaps they are really working on a story campaign for Star Wars Battlefront 3, but then the writers will have to explain the death of Garrick Versio, who died on Jakku. Last summer, Scordi raised the topic of his character’s death on Twitter, and someone saw it as a hint that the admiral was still alive.
However, other options cannot be ruled out. For example, a trio of actors have teamed up to work on a big story expansion for Star Wars: Squadrons or a new game within the walls of EA. Another option is that the actors work with another studio located in Santa Monica, for example, Sony Santa Monica. There is no official confirmation, and the players can only guess and collect bits of information.
However, you shouldn’t rule out the development of Star Wars Battlefront 3 either. Support for the second part ended in April, and now DICE is actively working on a new part of Battlefield, which can be presented and released this year.
