From the profile of one of the employees of the Arkane Studios unit in Austin, it became known that a new game from the Prey (2017) team and the original Dishonored is being created on the Unreal Engine 4.
In addition, the profile contains a fantasy setting.
The development on Unreal Engine 4 is most surprising, since Prey worked on CryEngine, and Dishonored 2 generally on a separate Void Engine. On the other hand, the original Dishonored was powered by Unreal Engine 3, so this can be seen as a kind of return to the basics.
The unannounced Austin title is being developed under the direction of Harvey Smith, while Arkane’s Lyon division is developing the shooter Deathloop. Its release is scheduled for May.
