During The Xbox Two Podcast, Windows Central editor Jez Corden shared an interesting detail. According to him, Microsoft has talked with almost all major publishers about adding their games to Game Pass.
So far, only EA has agreed.
I have heard that there has been some talk of a broader partnership between Microsoft and Ubisoft on Game Pass, and not only with Ubisoft, but other publishers as well. It’s just that EA is the first company to agree.
At the same time, Corden noted that there is nothing surprising or unexpected in this. Microsoft will not stop at what it has already achieved, namely the introduction of EA Play in Game Pass.
They do their best to ensure that all publishers bring their games to Game Pass.
Corden had previously stated that Ubisoft + could indeed be included in Game Pass, at least from what he heard. When this will happen is unknown.
