Bungie and Riot Games sue cheat makers

Bungie and Riot Games have filed a combined lawsuit in a California court against GatorCheats. This is one of the cheat makers that distributes their software by subscription.

The developers claim that GatorCheats has illegally enriched itself by tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars and caused damage that can be estimated in “millions of dollars.” The requirements are categorical – to stop distributing cheats, to compensate for the damage (despite the absence of exact amounts), to transfer all sales data and all developments that violate copyright.

Bungie has previously threatened GatorCheats with a lawsuit. She officially stopped the sale, but continued to support the subscriptions already sold. In addition, the developers believe that attackers are still selling cheats, but in “hidden mode” – on the closed part of the site, in private messages, and so on.

At the same time, cheats for Valorant are much more expensive than for Destiny 2.
