According to The Wrap, Ray Fisher will not be playing Cyborg in the Flash solo movie. The actor was supposed to appear in a small cameo, but the character was simply cut out of the script. Apparently, this happened after Fisher’s recent remarks about the head of DC Films, Walter Hamada.
The actor accused Hamada of lying and said that he would not participate in the projects that he leads.
Prior to this, Fischer publicly criticized Joss Whedon, who was filming Zach Snyder’s Justice League. According to the actor, there was a toxic atmosphere on the set, discrimination and humiliating attitude towards the actors. After that, two investigations were carried out at once, and Gal Gadot even joined the last one, who was also not satisfied with the work with Whedon.
See Cyborg played by Ray Fisher in the director’s cut of Justice League by Zach Snyder, due out on HBO Max in March.
Andreas Muschetti is making a solo film about the Flash. The premiere is scheduled for November 4, 2022.
