Square Enix and People Can Fly have announced that Outriders , the co-op third-person shooter, will not release on February 2, as originally planned.
The release date was pushed back to April 1.
It took the developers more time to polish and debug all the game mechanics. However, players will still be able to play before the release – on February 25, a free demo will be available with all four classes and the opportunity to evaluate the first few hours of the campaign both alone and in co-op.
All accumulated progress will be carried over to the full version of the game.
Outriders will be released on PC and consoles of both generations.
