The publication Wccftech reported that NVIDIA is preparing a new more powerful version of the RTX 3060, which will occupy the performance niche between the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070. It will be called the GeForce RTX 3060 Ultra and will receive 12 GB of video memory. Previously, this variant was supposed to be called the RTX 3060, but NVIDIA decided to change the name.
The graphics processor of the video card will be GA104, just like in the RTX 3070. The amount of video memory of this version of the video card is even larger than that of the RTX 3080. The first images of the product from ASUS have already appeared.
The video card is due on January 11 at CES. Estimated price: $ 449.
