A large-scale war continues in Eve Online , which sets new records. While the record for the number of players in a single PvP battle in the history of video games was recently set , the new achievement is related to the amount of funds that were spent on destroyed starships.
It was named the Massacre of M2-XFE. The massacre took place around one of the strongholds of the Imperium, which was attacked by the forces of the PAPI alliance. In total, 251 titans were destroyed in the battle, and about 5600 players, 1200 titans, 400 supercarriers, 445 dreadnoughts and 250 aircraft carriers were involved.
In-game currency was lost in the amount of 23.6 trillion, which is approximately equal to $ 347 thousand.
PAPI achieved its goal, but lost more titans. However, the Imperium lost more in-game currency. Official EVE news calls this fight a draw.
The war continues. Eve Online is available on PC.
