The GI.biz portal shared information on sales of retail editions of games in the UK from December 27, 2020 to January 2, 2021. The leader of the last week of last year was Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The hit Nintendo climbed two places with a 7% increase in sales over its previous result. The football simulator FIFA 21, despite the release on many platforms, was unable to maintain its leadership in the last week of 2020.
Sales of almost all games have declined since the end of the UK Christmas period. On average, many of the top 10 participants slipped by 50%.
