Media Jodie Whittaker Will End Doctor Who After Season 13

Sources for the Mirror reported that Doctor Who’s 13th season will be Jodie Whittaker’s last as a Time Lord. The reason for leaving was the desire of the actress to do other projects.

Who will play the next Doctor is still a mystery.

The information is kept in the strictest confidence, but the site already knows that Jody is leaving. They are preparing for a new regeneration to reveal the next Doctor.

Previously, Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole left the show, playing 13 Doctor’s companions. Showrunner Chris Chibnell will continue to work on the series, according to sources.

Shooting for season 13 began in mid-November. Due to the pandemic, the new season will have eight episodes instead of the usual 11. The premiere is expected in the fall, but there is no exact release date yet.
