Famed TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said he doesn’t expect to see Apple’s own car until at least 2025. Earlier, a rumor appeared on the network that the company was ready to present the car in 2021, and the development was allegedly two years ahead of schedule.
According to Kuo, even if production started in 2020 and is progressing well, the announcement and possible start of sales could take place in the period from 2025 to 2027, although the outcome is quite likely when there will be a postponement to 2028 or even later.
Kuo said that Apple currently has neither suppliers of parts for production, nor the production facilities themselves. At the same time, the Cupertino-based company is still not sure about the technical characteristics of the car and its competitiveness in a new market for itself.
