Sony Pictures has announced that filming for the Resident Evil adaptation has come to an end. Earlier this was announced by the VFX-studio Applied Arts FX Studio, and now confirmed by the company itself.

In addition to this, a photo was published with a cotton candy, which shows director Johannes Roberts (“Blue Abyss”) and cameraman Maxim Alexander (“Ghosts of Bly Manor”).

The main roles in the film were played by Robbie Amell (Chris Redfield), Kaya Scodelario (Claire Redfield), Evan Jogia (Leon Kennedy), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill Valentine), Tom Hopper (Albert Wesker) and others.

According to a previous leak, the premiere of the restart of Resident Evil is expected on September 9, 2021, if the situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic does not intervene.
